What you can report

If it's putting people or the environment at risk, it counts.

You don't need proof or a perfect account. A clear description of what you've seen is a good start.

  • 01Unsafe conditions or practicesMissing guards, skipped lockout, unsafe equipment, or work being rushed in ways that put people at risk.
  • 02OverexposuresNoise, dust, chemicals, fumes or mist above what's safe, or without proper controls and protection.
  • 03Abuse, bullying or harassmentWorkplace violence, intimidation, harassment or treatment that is causing physical or psychological harm.
  • 04Cover-ups or falsified recordsIncidents not reported, inspections signed off without being done, or records changed after the fact.
  • 05Environmental harmSpills, improper disposal, releases to air, land or water, or permits being ignored.
  • 06Programs that exist only on paperSafety or environmental programs that look complete but aren't followed, resourced or enforced.
How it works

Four steps, at your pace.

There is no open public form. Each person gets their own private link, which helps keep submissions secure.

  1. Request a private link

Use the short form below. You can use a personal email or a new account made just for this, and you don't need to give your real name.

  2. We send you a single-use secure link

The link is for you only and works once. Keep it to yourself.

  3. Upload details and files

Use the link to describe what's happening and add any documents, photos or other files you'd like us to see.

  4. We review it confidentially

We look at what you've sent and decide, with your input where possible, what can be done. That might be an independent review, raising it with the right people in an appropriate way, or pointing you to the right regulator.

How we protect you

Confidential by design.

We take your privacy seriously, and we'll be straight with you about what we can and can't do.

No name required

You can report without telling us who you are.

Pseudonyms welcome

Pick any name you like so we can keep track of your report.

Your identity stays with us

If you tell us who you are, we won't share it without your permission.

Kept separate

Tips are kept off our everyday systems.

Files checked first

Files are checked before they're opened.

Single-use links

No always-open form, so each upload link is yours alone.

Important

Before you start.

Emergencies

If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.

This tip line is not monitored around the clock and is not an emergency service.

Wherever you are in Canada, you also have the right to report directly to the workplace safety regulator for your province or territory (for example WorkSafeBC in British Columbia), or to the federal Labour Program if you work in a federally regulated workplace, as well as to the relevant environmental authority. You also have the right to refuse unsafe work. Using this tip line doesn't replace or limit those rights.

Our limits

We're an independent consultancy, not a regulator or law enforcement. We can't order anyone to make changes, and we can't guarantee an outcome.

We'll keep what you send us confidential, but no system can promise perfect anonymity. Please take the precautions above, especially if what you know could identify you.

You're not on your own

Sometimes our hands are tied. A friend still helps.

Speaking up isn't easy. You might worry about your job, your reputation or the people around you. You might have tried before and watched nothing change. That's not a failure on your part. Sometimes the people who should act just don't.

We can't promise to fix everything, and there are times when our hands are tied too. But it's good to have someone in your corner, someone who will listen, take you seriously and think it through with you. Sharing your story is a brave first step, and you get to decide what happens next.

A kind word
Telling someone is not the same as making trouble. It's how things get better.
Request a private link

Start with an email address. Nothing more.

We'll send a single-use secure link to the address you give us. Please don't include details of your concern here; you'll be able to share those privately through the link.

We'll only use this address to send your link and, if you'd like, to follow up about your report.

Your email address. A personal or newly created address is best, not a work one.
Like a wrestling or superhero name. Just for fun, and it keeps your real name out of it.
No details yet, please. For example: "exposure concern" or "harassment".

Link requests are delivered by email through a third-party form service, which will see the address and any pseudonym you enter. Your tip itself never goes through it.

Links are usually sent within a few business days.
