Security assessments and verification

Security gaps usually hide in ordinary places.

A propped door, a shared password, a system someone set up on their own. We help you find them, understand what matters most, and close them.

For organizations without a security department

Most problems aren't dramatic. They're everyday habits.

Keys that were never returned. An account for someone who left two years ago. A website nobody has updated. A spreadsheet on a personal laptop that holds client details. None of it feels urgent until something goes wrong.

We take a practical, hands-on look at your buildings, your access and your systems, check them against what you intended, and tell you plainly what we found and what to fix first.

What we look at

Assessment, auditing and verification.

Physical and building security

A walk-through of how people and things get in and out, during the day and after hours.

  • Doors, gates and other access points
  • Locks, keys, alarms and cameras
  • Visitor and contractor control
  • After-hours and closing practices

Access control and records

Who can get into what, and whether your records match reality.

  • Key and access card records
  • Access left open for people who have left
  • Who has access to which rooms, files and systems

Information and system checks

Finding the weak points in the systems your organization relies on.

  • Websites, online stores and accounts
  • Shared and reused passwords
  • Backups that may not actually work
  • Shadow IT: systems staff have set up on their own

Security verification and auditing

Checking that agencies and organizations have set up their security programs and procedures, and are following them in practice.

  • Programs and procedures reviewed against requirements
  • Evidence that what's written is what's done

Findings and practical fixes

A clear list of what we found, ranked by risk, with practical fixes that fit your organization.

  • Most important items first
  • Quick wins separated from bigger projects
How it works

Agreed in writing, done in plain view.

A conversation

What worries you, what you've already got in place, and what you'd like checked.

Scope and permission

We agree in writing on what we'll look at and test, and we get written permission from the owner before we start.

Walk-through and checks

On-site, remote or both: we look at buildings, access, records and systems within the agreed scope.

Findings ranked by risk

Plain-language findings, with the most important gaps at the top and practical fixes for each.

Help closing gaps

We help you work through the fixes in a sensible order, at a pace that fits your people.

Follow-up check

A return visit or remote check to confirm the fixes are in place and working.

In plain terms: we only test systems with the owner's written permission and within an agreed scope. We are not a licensed security guard or alarm company, and we don't install equipment.

Where specialist or licensed work is needed, such as alarm installation, locksmithing or formal penetration testing, we'll say so, and we're glad to work alongside those providers.
